District Manager
nick
Nick Teresko
E: districtmanager@cascaderec.org

Nick found his way to Cascade while working for Bear Valley Rafting in Banks, Idaho, as a safety kayaker when his fiancé Emaleigh picked him up hitch hiking, and he never got out of the car. Nick is an extremely passionate recreation enthusiast who spends most of his time white-water kayaking, skiing, mountain biking, and keeping up with his two English setters, Skadi and Massimilano. Nick obtained his Bachelor of Science degree at Kent State University in general education. In his professional life he has worked as a preschool teacher in Park City, Utah, where he taught every student in his class to ski and spell their name. Nick is also a fully certified ski instructor and most recently worked at Soldier Mountain Ski Area in Fairfield, Idaho, managing their snow sports school and lift-served mountain biking operation. Nick aims to enhance and expand recreation opportunities for residents and guests of Cascade through community building and meaningful programming. He also believes it is equally important to support the Cascade Aquatic Center employees in every way he can. Nick will welcome any community feedback.
Front Desk Manager
shay
Shay Holmes

Shay Holmes is a native Idahoan, and finally fulfilled her dream of becoming a full time Valley County resident in 2001. Having spent many summers in Cascade, Shay grew up fishing, camping and horse packing, and she always felt like the mountains were her home. Shay loves people but especially enjoys the company and energy of children, and she volunteered with Sunday School, Boy Scouts, after-school program, 4-H, homeschoolers, and other kid centered organizations since she moved to Cascade. She loves our community and feels blessed that she could raise her children in such a safe and loving environment. When she isn’t working or volunteering, she loves to read, ride horses, spend time with her dogs and goats, and do woodworking projects.

She is a former competitive swimmer and CrossFit athlete and has always had a love for helping people better themselves through health and fitness. She has an Associates in Health Science and a large amount of experience and knowledge in fitness supplements and nutrition. When not working, Kassi enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her two dogs. She also enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, swimming, and going on atv rides. She is excited to get to know the community and get more people involved in fitness and recreation.
