Pool Rules

As one of the only public pools open in Idaho this summer, please call us at (208) 382-5136 in advance if you have a large group wanting to swim.

No lifeguard on duty: Up to 34 swimmers can use the pool without a lifeguard, per the State of Idaho.

Lifeguard on duty: Up to 25 swimmers per lifeguard

Open Swim is everyday from 5am-8pm Monday-Friday, there are 2 lap lanes in for lap swimming and the rest of the pool is open for recreational swimming. On weekends we remove the swim lanes and open the entire pool to recreational swimming, (open 10am-8pm on Saturdays and 10am-6pm on Sundays)  

Our Therapy Pool is used for aquatic physical therapy services (provided by Cascade Medical Center) Tuesday and Thursday of each week from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. At all other times, the Therapy Pool is open to the public and is maintained at a 100 degree temperature.


Children 6 years and younger: 
Requires an adult to be in the same pool with them at ALL times, even when a lifeguard is on duty.
An adult must be 18 years and older.

Children 13 years and under: 
Requires an adult in the pool area when no lifeguard is on duty.

Anyone 14 years and older:
Can use the pool by themselves when no lifeguard is on duty.

Wash your hands and take a shower before and after using the pools.
Maintain social distancing guidelines at all times in all areas.
Face masks are optional but strongly recommended in the facility and outside at the pools.
No diving
No running
No glass in the pool area
No food on the pool deck, only in the grassy areas
No vaping / no smoking / no alcohol allowed on the premises
